  • The cleaners go through a screening process that includes a police background check, reference checks and in-person interviews.

  • All of our housekeepers are professionally trained. Our training program includes: Two hours of verbal training program with 45 pages work book, followed by an open book exam. Then it’s supervised hands on in the houses.

  • We have one of the most comprehensive insurance policies of the industry. That covers Public Liability, Damages to Property, Loss of Keys, Fidelity (trustworthiness of the domestic cleaner), and even Misuse of the customer’s telephones.

  • We will send a Professional Helpy Home cleaner from your area.

  • We prefer to always send the same housekeeper to your home. This not only works best for you. It works best for the cleaner as well. We will only make changes when it is absolutely necessary (sickness, holiday, day off). In that case, if we need to send another colleague to clean your home, we can guarantee she will have all your pertinent information. She will have everything necessary to clean your home.

  • It depends on your house size and the number of extras.

  • No, you don’t have to be at home. Please make sure you let us know how to access your house.

  • Your security information is confidential. We are accustomed to alarms and various types of security systems.

  • Statistics Canada estimates just under half of Canadians are pet owners. We are used to it and we love pets. We always wash the pet's dishes and give them fresh water. Please Note: we do NOT clean up urine or feces left by your pet.

  • Please note that we do not clean up urine, puke or feces in the house.
    We can easily remove minor mold, but big infestations can be bad for health. We are not professional mold removal expert.

  • Unfortunately, with even the most experienced and conscientious cleaning professionals, breakage happens occasionally. If this should happen, we would contact you & advise you. If/when possible, we will replace the item.

  • If you are certain some item was stolen from your home, we encourage you to contact the police and we will work closely with them to resolve the issue. We have zero tolerance for theft....whether it is 25 cents, a night stand or a 12 carat diamond ring!

  • There is no contract. You can terminate your services at any moment by giving us a written notice.

Pricing Questions

  • Simply visit the HOME page and book a cleaning. As you provide information about your house and schedule, your package price will adjust itself accordingly.

  • We would love to arrange a meeting with you in your home. We can take a look at your house and discuss your request/budget.

  • In this case the cleaner will notify us in regards of additional time and we will contact you to ask for your approval.

  • When you book your first cleaning online, you can choose payment methods between E-transfer / debit / credit card at check out. At the second time you will receive your invoice by email before the cleaning date and you can easily pay the invoice directly online until your scheduled cleaning date.
    Most of our clients use E-transfer.
    After all you need is access to online or mobile banking through a participating financial institution, and you can send money to us with an email address — without sharing any personal financial information.

    All prices are inclusive of taxes (13%). There is no hidden fee.

Scheduling Questions

  • Simply visit the HOME page and click BOOK NOW and follow the prompts. When you choose the cleaning regularity, you can book the exact day and time.

    You can contact us anytime and book your cleaning date by email. Please send your email to

  • No, you only book your original cleaning. After the first service we schedule you in our cleaning calendar as you requested (weekly, bi-weekly etc..). We always send a reminder email before the cleaning date and we ask for your confirmation.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a cleaning for any reason, simply call or email us. We don’t charge cancellation fee. In order to maintain efficiency and in consideration of our colleagues as well as other clients' schedules, we require a 24 hour notice for all cancellations.

  • Morning jobs will typically be scheduled to start at between 8 and 9 am. Afternoon jobs will typically be scheduled to start between noon and 1pm.

  • Absolutely! You can change your schedule any time. Please contact us to let us know. If your scheduled cleaning falls on a statutory holiday we will contact you to reschedule.

  • We always send a reminder email before the cleaning date and we ask for your confirmation. We are not going to clean if we don't have your confirmation.
